Art Postcard Wall

The very first idea I implemented in this house was the entrance hall wall.

Over the years I have amassed a very large collection of art postcards. I have collected them from cafés, been given them by friends and family, bought them at galleries and museums. One of my favourite, and dare I say addictive, places to get them is a wonderful website www.redbubble.com , which not only sells fabulous art postcards and prints, but also tee shirts, cushions, stickers, phone covers, tote bags and more!

I really wanted to show off this collection, so I gathered a variety of photograph frames in varying styles and shapes, most of which I painted in bright colours.

It it brings happiness and joy to me from the minute I walk in the door.

Sadly this is only a tiny portion of my collection, but there is still room to add some more, and nothing to stop me from changing the cards over periodically!

This a great solution for a narrow space where you cannot hang larger works, but still adds impact and personality to the area.
