The wreath hanging on my front door has been there for 6 months, and it is starting to look pretty daggy.
Made from patty cake pans, beads and the petals from a bunch of fake flowers, it has faded and been damaged in the weather.
So, time to start fresh. I stripped it back to its original plain cane form
With my current obsession with wool, a wrapped wreath seemed to be the obvious answer!
So, to start I tied then end of my first colour around the wreath and started wrapping.
For the next colour, I just tied the two ends together, trimmed, and kept wrapping.
Once completely wrapped, I just tied the final end to the piece of wool I first tied on. Complete circle!
To add a little bit more interest, I made three tiny pom poms to tie to the base.
And it’s ready to hang on my door!
Love it!
Thank you!!
