I need help. Of the professional type. Is there a 12 step program for Tassel making? Tassellers Anonymous?
Whilst perusing the blog world, I got inspired by the very talented Aunt Peaches to make some “yarn tassel knob bobbles” (you’ve got to love this girl, don’t you?)
There is no longer any type of knob in my house that is free of a bobble. They’re so much fun to make, and look pretty cute too.
But, sadly, it didn’t end there. Aunt Peaches neglected to mention that tassels are more addictive than coffee and a cigarettes combined.
So I decided to create a garland to hang above the window in my dining area, which is one of the most colourful and rainbowy areas in my home.
I still have dozens of these fluffy little fellas left, and an uncontrollable urge to create more -eek- so I am thinking of new ways to use them!
My latest idea (which would require me to make lots more) is to have a Tassel Christmas tree this year. I am going with a rainbow theme for Christmas, so that would tie in well.
Stay tuned, I will share any future tassel related posts with you, as I come up with ways to use the darn things!!!!
