A few months ago my elderly tortoiseshell cat Mischief got very sick and had to be put to sleep (very sad, but she had had an awesome life, but was no longer enjoying it, so it was time for her to be at peace)
She had been unhappy and disagreeable for quite a while, so after she had passed on, the rest of the household breathed a bit of a sigh of relief, and became more relaxed and content. Everyone was getting along nicely, so I decided that I wasn’t going to get another cat, thus slightly reducing my crazy cat lady status.
I was happy having a three cat household. I should have known it wouldn’t last!
Enter Miss Snowflake
Snowflake had been the office cat at my workplace for the last 18 months or so, but she started to be a problem with setting off alarms and costing the company a fortune in security call outs.
So who did they turn to? Yep, none other than the CCL, me.
Admittedly Snowfy spent most of her days asleep on my desk. She would wait for me to arrive in the morning and race up the stairs behind me on her thundering little paws.
So of course I said yes, I would adopt her.
So now I have complete chaos at home.
But she’s a cutie, so I can’t complain!
Here they all are having a temporary truce owing to the presence of Whiskas.
