One of my favourite zen relaxation techniques is to paint something abstract. I find it very calming and cathartic. Initially my abstract painting was something I did just for myself, and not something I ever showed anyone, certainly not exhibited publicly.
However amidst some encouragement from friends and fans, I have “come out” as an abstract painter! In my most recent solo exhibition, which was in 2013, I exhibited around 10 abstracts, and even sold a few.
