On a recent visit to my local op shop I found these cute little frames. Although the rose pictures are sweet, they’re crooked and the black paper is quite faded. The shape of the frames was what really attracted me.
The paint was also damaged, so I thought I thought I would paint them a retro green colour.
I’m still enjoying painting on old tea bags, so I decided to do a couple of simple leaf paintings on some tea bag paper.
Initially I thought I would hang them as a pair, but I changed my mind. They’re such a great size and shape for filling a gap in a gallery wall. (All my walls end up as gallery walls!)
So I hung them separately, one in my entryway and one in my sitting room.
