When I saw this ruined little table in my local op shop for $4 I wasn’t sure exactly what I’d do with it, but I knew I couldn’t leave it behind!
It had what looked like pink nail polish all over the top, and lots of scratches and what looked like puppy chew marks (I speak from experience).
So the top required sanding no matter what I decided to do.
I had been leaning toward painting the table in a charcoal grey colour, however at this point, the table reminded me of my parents’ gorgeous Victorian dining table with dark stained carved legs and varnished pine table top.
So I figured I would see how it looked if I continued sanding and just varnished the top. (I can always paint it grey at a later date).
Not bad for $4, huh?
I also picked up that sweet granny square crochet rug for $4 too. ❤️
I love it!!!
Thank you!!! I’m stoked with it!!! 😁
What a sweet little table! It makes me happy that you rescued it and gave it new life.
Thank you Nancy! I couldn’t leave it all forlorn and sad in the op shop!!
